Irish Black Bulls reach their moderate mature frame structure at two years of age and often perform until nine or ten years old.  In the bulk of other beef breeds, bulls can take years to reach mature frame structure and then, at that point they are simply too big to continue using.  In addition Irish Blacks high fertility gene trait allows a breeding ratio of one coming two year old bull per 50-70 females to be bred in the herd.  This high fertility and longevity means fewer bulls purchased per herd, which in turn means lower bull expenses, easier bull management, and most importantly -- HIGHER PROFIT!

Irish Blacks are the best choice for producers in today's market. The power of an Irish Black Bull to transmit his dominant gene traits like early maturity, high fertility, and uniformity are keys to increasing profitability.  Early maturity reduces slaughter dates by 2 to 5 months, stepping up investment returns.  High fertility is proven by our customers to better their pregnancy rates while still using one third as many bulls.  Heifer calves reach sexual maturity quickly and breed efficiently, making top replacements. Half blood Irish Black calves look and perform alike, uniformity that adds value and increases profits on sale day.

We are happy to discuss our feedlot data from our half blood Irish Black commercial feeders with customers considering retaining ownership, just give us a call.  The performance and consistency of Irish Blacks has been proven.  Irish Black Bulls are true herd sires; their calves excel from their first breath, through development, and into the feedlot or the breeding pasture.  Irish Black Bulls deliver performance from conception to finish!  Reserve a bull today for 2012 delivery,
